Mrs. H. S. Blakemore
LIBERAL - Lena Blakemore, 84. died Tuesday at Colorado Springs, Colo. Born Lena Fly Dec. 25, 1894, at Purdy, Mo., she was married to H. S. (Shelby) Blakemore Dec. 25. 1921, at Fort Smith, Ark. He died Feb. 9, 1980. She was a Liberal resident before moving to Colorado Springs in 1952.
She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church, Liberal.
Survivors: son, Thomas Jerry, Colorado Springs; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Miller Chapel, Liberal; the Rev. David Schneider. Burial will be at the Liberal Cemetery. Friends may call until service time at the funeral chapel.
