Clarence Richard Blakeley Jr. was born to Louise and Clarence Blakeley in Longview. He grew up in the Great Depression and worked for Western Electric for 35 years. After retiring at the age of 55, he farmed on his land off of FM 449. He served in the United States National Guard for 8 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Hayes Blakeley; brothers, William E. Blakeley and Jackie B. Blakeley; and uncles, Vernon Skye and Harold Hayes.
