Graveside services for Bill Blakeley, 51, of Kerrville, who died Thursday in a local hospital, will be Sat at 2 pm. Born June 22, 1938, in Mineral Wells, Mr. Blakeley was a longtime resident of Kerrville and Menard. He retired from the Texas Liquor Control Board enforcement division after ten years of service. He previously had been employed in law enforcement with various agencies in the Hill Country. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, the Masonic Lodge and the Shrine Club. Mr. Blakeley was a former member of the Hill Country Peace Officer's Association. Survivors include his wife Martha of Kerrville, daughter Brenda Blakeley of Kerrville; son Bryan Blakeley of Kerrville, father Earl C. Blakeley of Houston, sister Hope Holm of Houston, brother Choice D. Blakeley of Houston and several nieces and nephews.
