Otto V. Blake, 75, died Sunday at the home of his sister, Mrs. Laura Lee, RFD 1, Valparaiso.
The decedent was born in Jackson township, Porter county, August 16, 1875, a son of Jared and Amelia Blake, Pioneer residents of Jackson township.
For a number of years he resided in Colorado. He was a member of Canon City Col., Lodge No. 160, BPO Elks, for 45 years.
Surviving are two brothers, Harry S. Blake and Vinton J. Blake of the Valparaiso vicinity and three sisters, Mrs. Alice S. Vryarly of Valparaiso, Mrs. Laura Lee, RFD 1, Valparaiso and Mrs. Hazel Forester of Glen Ellyn, Ill.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 pm Wednesday at the LaPell funeral home, 53 Monroe St, with the Rev. Percy Thomas of the First Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.
