Miss Kate Blain's school for Boys and Girls will begin on the 2nd Monday in September, 1879. Terms per session of 5 months, $10.

THE NEW SUPT.
Miss Kate Blain passed the requisite examination without a mistake and qualified as school superintendent. The salary is $800 a year at the pleasure of the fiscal court and she will hold the office till her successor is elected in November and qualifies. There is not a more worthy young lady in Lincoln county than Miss Blain and in appointing her, Judge Davison shows that he is a man of unusual anagosity.

Miss Kate Blain, who has made an excellent county superintendent, left yesterday for her home at Hustonville to the regret of many friends made here.

HUSTONVILLE
During the two years Miss Kate Blain has been deputy postmaster here she has only lost a half day from the office. Miss Blain is an exceedingly efficient and accomodating official.
