Reburial services for Flight Officer John Blain, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rube Blain, who was killed in action during World War II, will be held at the First Methodist Church with Rev. W.E. Shipp officiating. Military honors will be under the direction of the local American Legion and VFW posts.

The US Air Force officer was shot down over New Guinea on 2 September 1943 and reported dead in 1944. His body was definitely identified in 1949.

Survivors; parents; twin brother - James of Breckenridge; three sisters - Mrs. Emma Cantwell of Breckenridge, Mrs. Florine Chadwell of Ardmore, OK, Mrs. Betty Coleman of Marksville, LA.
