Born Anna Sorge in Stapleton, she graduated from McKee High School and moved to Oakwood in the 1950s.
She worked for JP Morgan in Manhattan as a secretary for fifteen years, retiring twenty-five years ago.
She enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was a parishioner of St. Charles R.C. Church, Oakwood.
Her husband of twenty-two years, John, died in 1966.
Surviving are a son, John; a daughter, Marilyn Bond; a sister, Charlotte; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday from the Hanley Funeral Home, New Dorp, with a Mass at 10:15 a.m. in St. Charles Church.
Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, West Brighton.
