Clarice B. Billingsley FLORENCE - Clarice Blackwell Billingsley, 64, passed away on April 9, 2011, surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be Monday, April 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Church at Sandhurst, Florence. Entombment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1 to 2:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the Church prior to the service. Mrs. Billingsley was born in Darlington County, the daughter of the late Otis and Mary Ruth Blackwell. She was a member of the Church at Sandhurst. Clarice graduated from the Chris Logan Beauty School as a Cosmetologist. Mrs. Billingsley was the owner of Beau Monde Styling Salon before retiring in 2006. She was an avid member of the Florence Shag Club and enjoyed spending time on the beaches of Garden City. Her most prized hobby was spending time with her four grandchildren. She was married to the late Frank Junior Billingsley for 43 years until his death in 2009. Survivors are two daughters, Kimberly Ruth (John) Nance, Raleigh, NC and Melissa Ann Robinson, Florence; grandchildren, Morgan Yarborough, Kara Robinson, Cole and Claire Nance; loving sisters, Linda Blackwell (Don) Dunn and Judy Blackwell Kelly, Timmonsville; wonderful in-laws, Johnny and Anne Billingsley, Mary and Sammy Sanders, Eric and Shirley Billingsley, Gary and Janet Billingsley and several special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Robert Blackwell and Otis Blackwell, Jr
