Wayne Blackrick married Clara May (McCracken) Blackrick on Feburary 6, 1942. They had two children their Son Gregory Wayne (1947-2001) he is buried in Frankfort MI. Their daughter Jeanne Deacon currently lives in Texas, She is planning on joining them at Crystal Cemetery for her final resting place.

The Blackrick boy's are all buried in Crystal except for a brother and sister in law Harry and Thelma, who are in Ferris MI. Wayne's mothers family are also buried in Crystal, The Kirchner's. Clara May's Mother Cora M. McCracken, Grandparents Frances and Zeno Utter are buried in Carson City Cemetery.

The Blackrick boy's, Harry, Keith, Wayne, and Richard were some of the bigest prankster's. Always teasing, joking and laughing and that is my fondest memory of them.

Wayne was my dad, my hero, mentor and my friend. I often wonder to this day how I would have made it in life without all that he taught me. Truly there is hardly a day that I don't think of and miss my dad. He was always the Wind Beneath my Wings...
