ABNER "A B" BLACKMON, 87, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, transitioned from his earthly home, Sunday, February 3, 2008 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Memphis. He is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Lizzie Walker Blackmon; a daughter, Eva Wade-Jones (Robert); a son, Pastor Ira Blackmon (Francine); a grandson, Kevin Wade (Lynn); a granddaughter, Shaunda Turner; two great-grandchildren, Briana Wade and Darrion Sturm. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, February 8 at M.J. Edwards Airways Chapel. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, February 9, at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church, 2231 S.
