Jesse Lee Blackman, 91, passed away Monday, April 11, 2011. Funeral: 1 p.m. Wednesday at New York Avenue Church of Christ. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Arlington Funeral Home.
Jesse was born Nov. 4, 1919, in Muse, Okla., to John and Nancy Blackman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Blackman, and son, Jesse Martin Blackman.
Survivors: Sons, Wayne Blackman and wife, Nina, and Larry Blackman and wife, Debbie; daughter, Sherry Lewis and husband, Dave; daughter-in-law, Nancy Blackman; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
