Alice Blackburn 91, of Inez, KY., passed away on December 6, 2012, at Highlands Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, KY.
She was born on February 17, 1921, in Martin County, KY., she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Estie Jane Meade Scott.
She was a homemaker.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Burgess Delong, three brothers, William Manford Scott, Tom Scott, and Bill Scott as well as three sisters, Inis Small, Dinia Young, and Caldonia Scott.
Alice is survived by one son, James (Vicky Mayhan) Blackburn of Inez, Ky., three daughters, Voneda Blackburn, Ida (Jim) Porter both of Inez, KY., and Marie (Cliff) Browning of Chilicothe, OH., one brother, Harvey Scott of Prestonsburg, KY., 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2012, at the Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home, Inez Chapel, with Joe Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackburn Cemetery of Tomahawk, KY.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday and after 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
