THE BLOOMFIELD NEWS, Bloomfield, Greene County, Indiana, Thursday, December 12, 1935, Volume LX, Number 8, Page 9, Columns 7 & 8, "Mrs. Ashcraft Dies At Shelburn Home."
Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon for Mrs. Martha Sarah ASHCRAFT, seventy-three, who died Monday at the home in Shelburn. Interment took place in the K. of P. Cemetery at Hymera. Mrs. ASHCRAFT is survived by the husband, Henry; three sons, Fred, of Coalmont; Ted, of Jasonville, and Harry, of Shelburn; three daughters, Mrs. Mayme GIBSON and Mrs. Evelyn MCKEE, both of Jasonville, and Mrs. Florence MORRIS, of Shelburn, and twenty-three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
