Soldier/Artillerist, Chased Villa in Mexico with Pershing. He died in transit to france of influenza. A sargent in the 15th artillery regiment with the 2nd infantry division. Interred in Chicago where his Mother Kate and sisters Leah and Nora lived. He was aboard the infamous death ship that landed in france with almost 60% casulties. The capt elected to continue the voyage rather than turn around and head back because the ships owners would have only been paid if he made the trip.
