MISSOURI BLACK, wife of Mr. John M. Black, Manchester, Md., died at her home on May 21, 1948, after a brief illness at the age of 67 years, 5 months, and 17 days. Though in declining health for a year, her passing was unexpected. She was a life-long, faithful member of St. Jacob's Church. Surviving, besides her husband, are three daughters; Treva, Corrine, and Garnet Black; one son, Claude B. Black; several grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Wilhelm and Caroline Yingling, and two brothers, John and Clinton Sterner. The funeral was held on May 25th. Pastor Rehmyer of Manchester, Md., conducted the services at the home. A public service was held in St. Jacob's Church. Burial was made in the new cemetery.
