Mrs. Holloway was born March 1, 1913, at Champaign, a daughter of Walter and Grace Blackford. She married Vern Holloway on Dec. 28, 1929. He preceded her in death on Jan. 29, 1986. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann Klump of Robinson and Verna May of Champaign. Ten grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Virginia Schmitt, two sisters and seven brothers.
Mrs. Holloway graduated from Champaign-Urbana schools and worked for the University of Illinois Housing Department for 15 years. She attended First Baptist Church of Champaign, Savoy, and she was a retired member of Local 119. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening.
