Memorial services for Mr. Guy Sterling Bixler, Jr., age 69 of Manchester, TN formerly of Bailey, Colorado will be conducted Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2037 Decherd, Tennessee 37324 with Father John Kyabuta officiating.

Mr. Bixler passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at United Regional Medical Center in Manchester.

He was born November 17, 1943 in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania the son of the late Guy Sterling Bixler, Sr., and Erma Maxine Otto Bixler. Guy was known by friends and family to simply enjoy life. He had a true love for people and never met a stranger. Everyone he met through the years became a friend and he was never too busy to for anyone. He enjoyed cooking; however, Guy's passion was creating his homemade candies that he loved to share.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Beverly Fay Bixler, November 8, 2010; a son, Joseph Lee Bixler, August 30, 2010; and a brother, Aaron Bixler.

Survivors include his loving daughter and son-in-law, Natasha Brooks and husband, Richard of Manchester; daughter-in-law, Katy Bixler of Colorado; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and two brothers, Mark Bixler of Maryland and Herb Bixler of Georgia.
