Mrs. Hester Bittle Bastien of near Oraville, who dropped dead at her home Monday morning, will be laid to rest in Camp Creek cemetery Wednesday afternoon.

Funeral services will be held at Camp Creek church at 2 p.m. with Rev. Gardner officiating.

Mrs. Bastien was born November 20, 1904, in Jackson county and was married near Oraville February 22, 1924. She had been in poor health for several years. Mrs. Bastien was a member of Camp Creek church.

Survivors are: the husband, Earl Bastien; mother, Mrs. Alice Bittle, Makanda; sisters, Zelpha Penry, East St. Louis, Gladys Tooms, Pontiac, Ill., Beatrice Black, St. Louis, Mo., Ethel Hagler, Makanda; brothers, Ford Bittle and Hubert Bittle, both of Makanda.
