Mrs. Bittinger, who was born on April 2, 1873, in Allegany County, was a daughter of the late Silas and Martha (Fazenbaker) Warnick. Her husband, George Lewis Bittinger, has been dead since 1945.
Mrs. Bittinger, who had lived in this vicinity for about 40 years, was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Lonaconing.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Florence E. Warnick, of Lonaconing; Mrs. Carrie I. Myers, Mrs. Mayme L. Donaldson and Mrs. Evelyn M. Moore, all of here; a sister, Mrs. Carrie Warnick, Morgantown; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
The body will remain at the Boal Funeral Home in Westernport until 9:30 p.m. tomorrow when it will be taken to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses for a service at 10:30 a.m.
Nick Falbo will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow.
