ROBERT DALE BISSELL, of Tomball, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sept. 11, 2010. Born in Manchester, Connecticut on June 16, 1924, he was predeceased by parents C.E. and Margaret Bissell, sister Peggy Anderson and grandson Barrett Sansom. He is survived by his wife, Norma, son Randy Bissell and wife Mitzi, daughters Susan Bissell, Courtney Delaney and husband Al, granddaughters Alicia Sansom, Christine Foti and husband Max, grandsons Robert and Sean Delaney, great grandsons Nate and Charles Bissell, and brother Bill Bissell and wife Nancy. Robert served in the Pacific with the 12th Defense Battalion, 1st Marine Division in WWII. He received a B.A. from Texas Tech and an M.A. from Middlebury College, Vermont. He was a Life Insurance underwriter in Houston and Austin for nearly forty years, and a member of Berachah Church in Houston since 1961. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 16, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and Services on Friday, Sept. 17, starting at 10:00 a.m. at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball. Interment will follow in Houston National Cemetery.
