Katherine B. Bishop Fox, formerly of Lafayette, died at 9:32 AM Sunday, Feb. 19,
1995, in Wesley Manor, Frankfort, where she had lived since September. She was
born Oct. 18, 1903, in Elizabethton, TN, moving to Lafayette 52 years ago. Her
marriage was to Orville Jennings Fox, June 26, 1928, in Elizabethtown; he died
Dec. 30, 1956.

Mrs. Fox graduated from Elizabethton High School and attended Tusculum College, Purdue University, and East Tennessee State Teachers College. She taught school in Tippecanoe County, retiring in 1970. She taught at Oakland, Murdock and Crouch elementary schools in Lafayette, and at Elston and Romney schools in the county. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, and a former member
of Hope Chapter Order of Eastern Star, White Shrine of Jerusalem, and the Eastside Home Demonstration Club.

Surviving are a daughter Phyllis (Mrs. Richard) Puckett of Bristol, IN; a sister, Margaret (Mrs. Harris) Bristol of Elizabethton, TN; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Orville Richard Fox and two infants.
