Birth: Mar. 28, 1880
Death: Feb. 19, 1904

James Bishop was married by W.A. Alexander, Minister of the gospel on 6 June 1893 in Etowah County(The minister appears to be William Abner Alexander). Eliizabeth and James were living in Pinhook, Lawrence County, Alabama for the 1900 Census, no children at that time. (Pinhook is NW of Cullman and a quarter mile outside the Bankhead National Forest.) Elizabeth was dead by 1904 at the young age of 23. The first question is was her death associated with child birth,? The second question is "Who is she"? The 6 June 1895 marriage record list the bride as 15 year old Lizzy Nix. There is a Sarah E. Nix born to John Henry Nix and Eunice Adaline Inman two months before the 1800 census. both of her parents are buried here at Moodys and she would be a perfect fit except that the Inman Compendium data base list her married to another, and with her death in 1904. This is more difficult because the 1890 census was destroyed by fire and is not available. I must continue to search. I have presented my evidence to the web master at the Inman Compendium, for his review.
