Mary and others definitely came to TX from AR, but census records since 1850 all show her born in Lauderdale County, MS. Evidence for Griffith as her maiden name is in captions of photos on the memorial for her husband Mr. Bishop. She was Mary Harlow (Griffith) Bishop.
