BANGOR, Pa. - Clarence C. Bishop died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005 at Old Orchard Health Care Center. He was 75.
Born in Doylestown, he was a son of Carmon and Grace Nice Bishop of Quakertown.
He was married to Marion Kuhnel of Lambertville. In 1971, he wed Edna Dufficy Bishop , who died in 1985. In 1985, he moved to Clinton where he met his longtime companion, Patricia Klose.
After working for 35 years at Flemington Block & Supply, he retired to pursue his love of fishing.
A brother, Thomas, and a sister, Eleanor Jane Bishop , both died earlier.
Surviving are three brothers, Carmon Jr. of Beaver Dam, N.Y., Donald of Cape Coral, Fla. and Robert of Somerville; three sisters, Joyce Fleming of Pittstown, Carlene Snyder of Granville Summit, Pa., Miriam Hummer of Bordentown; five children, Shirley Bishop -Toka of Wrightstown, Geraldine Eckstein of Doylestown, Carol Sigler of Raleigh, N.C, Lawrence Bishop of Pinellas Park, Fla. and Thomas Berkman of Frenchtown; four grandsons; seven granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services are scheduled for tomorrow at 1 p.m. in the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, Holland Township. Visiting hours are scheduled for today, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
