Ed Bishop, 77, Owenton, died Wednesday morning, May 1, at Booth Hospital, Florence, after a long illness.
A native of Owen Co., the son of Joe and Ollie Floyd Bishop, he was a retired farmer and member of South Fork Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary "Mugs" Bond Bishop, a stepson, Floyd Bond McDanell, Versailles, two sisters, Pauline Ayres and Bernice Baker, both of Owenton, a brother, J.B. Bishop, Owenton and a grandchild.
Funeral services were held Friday, at McDonald Funeral Home, Main Street with Rev. Tom Tackett officiating. Burial was in the Owenton cemetery.
