Francis X Biron, Former Stevens Point Citizen Dies at Biron

Francis X Biron died at his home in Biron at 7 o'clock this morning, aged 58 years, 8 months, and 2 days. He had been in failing health for some time and his death was not unexpected. Mr Biron was a resident of this city for several years, during which time he was emplyed in the mill of the Wisconsin River Paper & Pulp Company. He moved to Biron about four years ago, where he was also emplyed in a paper mill. He is survived by his wife and two daughters. One of the daughters, Mrs Wolfe, lives in Montana, but is spending the summer at the home of her parents. The other daughter has been engaged to teach in one of the Buena Vista schools during the next school year. An only son, Francis Biron, Jr was fatally injured when employed as a brakeman on a Soo line freight train at Stanley, Feb 27. The accident occured in the morning and he died that evening in the hospital at Chippewa Falls. The funeral will be held from the family home at Biron at 830 Friday morning and from St Peter's & Paul's church, Grand Rapids, at 9:30, with interment in Calvary cemetery, Grand Rapids.
