Edna C. "Betts" Thompson, 85, formerly of Hollidaysburg RR 3, died Wednesday morning at Cole Manor, Coudersport.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Thomas and Edna (Myers) Birely. She married Raymond G. "Red" Thompson March 28, 1940, in Hollidaysburg. He died April 9, 2001, after 61 years of marriage.
Surviving is a sister, Kathleen Stewart of Coudersport.
Mrs. Thompson was a member of Altoona Bible Church.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing. Private interment will be at Carson Valley Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg.
