BELDING — Donald E. Birdwell, 56. of 110 Eastern
Ave., Greenville, died Sunday, April 23,1988, at United
Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 30,1932, in Cadillac, the son of Stephen and Helen Ricket Birdwell. Formerly an engineering draftsman, he retired in 1986 from Pinkerton
Security Co.
On Aug. 3,1974, he married the former Rose Deible
in Lake Odessa. She survives.
Also surviving are two stepdaughters, Mrs. Bruce
(Debra) Hodgson, Mason, Mrs. Joseph (Lisa) Falsetta,
Sheridan; a sister, Mrs. Richard (Lillian) Poling, Fort
Wayne, Ind.; five brothers, Raymond Birdwell, Franklinton. La., Floyd Birdwell, Fort Wayne, Ind., BUI Birdwell, Cadillac, Alvin Swanson, Frankfort ILL., Jim
Swanson, Lansing; three step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Clare
(Maude) Johnson.
Funeral services are 1 pm. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home, Belding, the Rev. Kendall Hanger officiating.
Burial is in Forest Home Cemetery, Greenville.
Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m.
