David was in World War II and Korean Conflict Overseas and was reported Missing. He was a F1 US Coastguard during the War.
He was stationed on the USS Leopold when it was struck by a torpedo and went down. 13 Officers and 158 men were lost and only 28 men survived.
His dod is 9 Mar 1944 and his Internment date is 2 Aug 2004.
He received a Purple Heart.
