Mary Alice Bruce was her full name however she almost never used or went by the name of Mary. Most of her relatives only knew her name as Alice.

Alices parents are Jasper N. Bruce ( Find a grave number ) and her mother is Rebecca Ann Barker (find a grave number ). However Rebecca died when Alice was a young girl (about 10 years old) and she was then raised by her step mother Elizabeth Stiles (Find a grave number ).
Alice is not listed in the official Burkburnett cemetery records because of a fire that destroyed the records. However her death certificate says she is buried here along with her husband Christopher B. Bingham. In addition funeral home records from the one funeral home in Burkburnett (Owens and Brumley) lists her plot number in the cemetery. Several of their daughters are also buried here, one is Omma Elizabeth (Bingham) Bruner. Alice and her husband were married abt 1879 in Texas (probably Bonham). I had a tombstone put on her grave on 7-4-2011.
