Pearl (Bilyeu) Stonecipher
Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl (Bilyeu) Stonecipher, 90, of Shelbyville, formerly of Overton County, were conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 25, 2001, from the chapel of Feldhaus Memorial Chapel with Rev. Steve Murphree officiating. Burial was in the Cookeville Cemetery with Feldhaus Memorial Chapel in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Stonecipher died Friday, August 24, 2001, at her home. She was an elementary school teacher for 32 years, the last 17 at Eakin Elementary. She retired in 1977, and was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, Joy Sunday School Class, and First Baptist Church.

Born in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Zua (Jackson) Bilyeu.

Survivors include a daughter, Virginia Parrish, Shelbyville; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
