Ada M. Bilyeu, age 87, of Warrensburg, Missouri, died Sunday, September 2, 2007, in Warrensburg Manor Care Center. She was born in Pine Ridge, Missouri, on October 23, 1919, and was the daughter of Daniel Franklin and Nettie (Dipley) Gullett. Ada worked as a seamstress, and was employed by Neff's of Springfield for 20 years. Prior to moving to Warrensburg, she was a member of and attended Fremont Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alpha Bilyeu; three brothers; and three sisters. Survivors include two daughters, Gwendolyn Howard and husband, David, Kansas City, and Wanda White, Ozark; four grandchildren, Monica Churchvara, Cheryl White, William Howard and Zachary Howard; two great-grandchildren, Danielle Churchvara and Andersen Howard; and a brother, George Gullett. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Reverend Dale Skiles officiating. Burial will follow in Chadwick Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. immediately before the service. Memorial contributions may be made to South Fremont Free Will Baptist Church.
