Eugene D. Bills (Gene, Our Dad) Passed away on Monday May 16,2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ.
Gene was born in Helper, Utah on June 14, 1933 to Parley and Nellie Bills. He lived in Soldier Summit, Utah and learned to hunt and fish in the, unpaved, surrounding mountains. His family then moved to Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was part of the "Fearsome Four" on the East High football team. He graduated from East High school in 1952.
Gene served in the United States Army in Germany as a military policeman for two years. In 1955 he met Leah Ann Hayes on a blind date. They went steady for two years and married in April, 1957. Gene worked for and retired from Mt. Bell US West. He lived and made many friends in Magna, Layton, Ogden, LaVerkin and St. George, Utah.
Gene and Leah moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ to enjoy retirement in 1993. They found peace and happiness in their golden years.
Eugene is survived by two sons Michael E. Bills of Golden, CO; and Scott D. (Stephanie) Bills of Farr West, Ut; three grandchildren, Lauren R. Bills, Amber N. Bills, and Jessica Ann Bills. His brother, Ed (Carma) Bills, and sister JoAnn (Robert) Harper.

Dad has moved on to be with his one and only true love, Leah Ann.
Our sorrow is assuaged knowing that his pain is gone, and his heart is full.

There will be a double graveside service for Eugene D. and Leah Ann Bills at 12 p.m. July 16, 2005 at the Cemetery in Georgetown, Idaho.
