OGDEN - Lois Billings Westergard, 76, died Friday, March 1, 1991, at her home of cancer.
She was born July 30, 1914, in Afton, Wyoming, the daughter of Harper Richardson and Lois Lacey Billings.
She was a graduate of Box Elder High School and attended a business college in Salt Lake City.
On June 15, 1938, she married Fermen James Westergard in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died November 8, 1988.
She had worked for the L.R. Samuels Co., in Ogden and for the Ogden LDS Temple.
Mrs. Westergard was a member of the Ogden 20th Ward and was a dedicated Primary and Sunday School Teacher and visiting teacher. She served an Eastern States mission from 1935-1937. She was a member of Estilami, an organization of returned lady missionaries.
Surviving are three sons, James Billings Westergard of Red Deer, Alberta, Canada; Fred H. Westergard of Salt Lake City; Kent Lee Westergard of Farr West; two daughters, Ruth W. Spanos of Ogden; and LoAnn W. Perry of Salt Lake City; and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Private family graveside services will be held.

Interment will be in Leavitt's Aultorest Memorial Park.
