Received the following from Paul Mitchell:
Your added images was my 1st view of the burial site of my maternal Grandmother, Ethel Minerva Sanger Billig. From the list of siblings I recalled her mentioning sister Cleo, who died at age 7 from scarlet fever. A childhood memory: I was eating Good & Plenty (licorice candy) when Gra'maw told me her sister, Cleo, had accepted "that candy" from the hand of a child recently recovered from scarlet fever. She (Ethel) declined the candy, and a week later Cleo fell sick and soon died.
Thanks for that memory of my grandmother's narrative, stimulated by her siblings list you added. ('Too bad you don't also have the receipe for her Amish/? beef pot pie... 'sure would like to enjoy that again!)
Many thanks,
Paul G. Mitchell
