Sarah Poole Biles, 86, of Decatur, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005, at Decatur General Hospital.
She was born Sept. 4, 1919, to Nora Lee Gay and Eli Franklin Poole in Decatur. She was a widow of the late Knox M. Biles. She was preceded in death by her parents, her six brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by one son, Knox M. Biles III and wife Letrina of West Point; two daughters, Mary Gay Murphy and husband Rodney, and Martha Fay Wesseling and husband Ray, all of Decatur; four grandchildren, Christy Biles, Sarah Marie Wesseling, Eli Wesseling, and Robert Murphy and wife, Mary Ellen; and three great-grandchildren, Samantha, Alex and Madison Murphy.
