In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd. He passed away on 21 Jan 1994. She was also preceded by 1 brother, August Brinkman; and 3 sisters, Emma Garrison, Viola Kress and Hilda Franke.
Visitation was held at Targhetta Funeral Home in Brighton, Illinois on 12 Jun 2002 from 10 a.m. until the beginning of funeral services at 11 a.m. In accordance with Helen's wishes, the body was cremated with burial at Gilead Baptist Cemetery.
The family requested that memorials, if desired, be made to Zion Lutheran Church in Batchtown, Illinois.
