Alma Ebey Mulkey Biggs, a resident and native of Denham Springs, died at 8:50 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001, at Golden Age Nursing Home, Denham Springs. She was 72.

Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Alice and John Boyd, Denham Springs, and Susie and Steve Powell, Florene; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Lisa Hebert, Denham Springs, and Henry John and Marie Mulkey, Walker; three sisters, Lena Crotwell, Greenwell Springs, and Fannie Phillips and Dorothy Jones, both of Denham Springs; a brother, Arthur Ebey Sr., Walker; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Alma Courtney Ebey; two brothers, Willie J. and Harley Ebey; and two sisters, Mattie Lee and Elouise Edwina Ebey.

She was a member of Southside Baptist Church, Denham Springs. Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, 12090 S. Harrell's Ferry Road, Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
