Agnes Biggs, age 95, of Oblong, IL, died Thursday, September 6, 2001 at her residence.

Agnes was born May 21, 1906 in Wapakoneta, Ohio the daughter of Elzia B. Dressback and Esther Rose (Dillon) Dressback.

On June 16, 1951 she married George Biggs who died June 15, 1988.

Agnes was retired from Montgomery Ward, Danville, Illinois as a clerk. She was a member of 2nd Church of Christ, Danville, Illinois and was affiliated with First Baptist Church, Oblong, Illinois.

Agnes is survived by a step-son, Charles & Beverly Biggs; sister Mary Newsome; 4 step grandchildren; several step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, locally by Betty B. & Don K. Bailey and Robert & Loretta Newsome.

Agnes is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 brothers, Ira, Ferd, Sam, Thomas & John Dressback and 2 sisters, Ida Neeley & Catherine Eveland.

Burial is in Oblong Cemetery.
