Barbara Jean Roslund, age 80, of Alma, formerly of St. Louis, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Warwick Living Center. She was born October 17, 1933 in St. Louis the daughter of Glen and Hazel (Delling) Bigelow. Barb was a graduate of St. Louis High School and married Martin Roslund on March 16, 1952 at the St. Louis Church of Christ.

Barb was a member of the St. Louis Church of Christ, Good Sam and Gleaners. She enjoyed traveling with Martin and taking their grandsons on camping trips. She also enjoyed riding their pontoon boat on the Pine River and fishing near their home. Barb especially loved spending time with her grandsons.

Barb is survived by her husband of nearly 62 years, Martin of Alma and St. Louis, three children; Debra (Dennis Danyluk) Roslund of Sault Ste. Marie, Melinda "Lindy" (Rich) Smalley of Alma and Mark (Karen) Roslund of St. Louis, six grandsons; Ryan (Kathy) Roslund of Shepherd, Jacob (April Bennett) Roslund of Brooklyn, Nickolas (Kristara Hensley) Roslund of St. Louis, Travis Roslund of St. Louis, Sean (Magnolia Lluberes) Young of Pompano Beach, FL, and Chad (Kim German) Young of Bridgeport, three great-granddaughters; Samantha Goettling of Kalamazoo and Hannah and Ella Roslund of Shepherd, and a sister; Doris "Peg" Kellogg of St. Louis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a great-grandson, Mason Martin Roslund and two sisters, Esteleda "Lead" Moulton and Winifred "Winnie" Fenner.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 11 am at the St. Louis Church of Christ with Pastor Keith Wise officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Lux-Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home, Alma. Memorial contributions may be made to March of Dimes and American Heart Association.
