Mary N. Biesecker, 81, formerly of 448 E. Delwood St., Morton, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007, at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton.

She was born March 24, 1926, in Morton to Carl and Katherine Miller Keister. She married Charles C. Biesecker on March 31, 1947, in Peoria. He preceded her in death on July 16, 1992.

She also was preceded in death by one sister.

Surviving are two sons, Charles M. (and Diane) Biesecker of Mapleton and Dave (and Amber) Biesecker of Creve Coeur; one daughter, Linda (and Bob) Miller of Morton; one brother, Carl Keister of Florida; and two sisters, Frances VanderLinden of Folsom, Calif., and Barbara Quevy of Dunlap.

A homemaker, Mary had worked as a clerk in the research lab at Caterpillar Inc. in Peoria during World War II.

A master gardener and amateur painter, she enjoyed nature and spending time with her four cats.

Cremation will be accorded. Private family graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton.
