Addie M. Doneen, 95, was born Addie Marie Briers in Odavee, MO to John and Alice (Keith) Biers on July 13, 1906. She was the youngest of seven children. The family moved to La Salle, CO when Addie was eight years old. She attended school in La Salle and went to high school in Greeley.

Her mother passed away when she was 16 and she came to Wenatchee to live with her married sister, Nellie (Mrs. Frank) Morgan.

In 1928, she married Edward J. Doneen at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wenatchee. She moved to Badger Mountain, where she resided until moving to Highline Care Center three years ago. She was a past member of Badger Mountain Grange, a charter member of Badger Mountain Ladies Club and a member of Holy Apostles Catholic Church in East Wenatchee.

She is survived by two daughters, Noreen Daling and her husband Lynn of Waterville; Marleen Witten and her husband Bill of Badger Mountain; eight grandchildren, Clark (Melinda) and Mike (Ginny) Bromiley of Badger Mountain, Doug (Jan) Bromiley of East Wenatchee, Shay (Jeff) Gloyn of Richland, Lou Ann Bromiley of Waterville, Zach (Linda) Keller and Thad (Robynne) Keller of Badger Mountain and Janee (Paul) Glosniak of Kirkland; 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; a special niece, Marie Smith of Lakewood; one sister, Bonnie Morgan of Montrose, CO and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward, two sons-in-law, Robert Bromiley, Jr. and Raymond Keller, one granddaughter, Holly Ray Keller, three great-grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters.

She loved to knit and crochet and she did ceramics for years. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, a homemaker and a hardworking farm wife, a devoted helpmate and a good friend to everyone she knew.

A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m., Wednesday evening, May 29, 2002 at Jones & Jones Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday morning, May 30, 2002 at Holy Apostles Catholic Church in East Wenatchee with the Reverend Father Maurice Peterson as Celebrant. Concluding services and the interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.

If desired, memorials may be made to the Holy Apostles Catholic Church or charity of your choice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones & Jones Funeral Home and Evergreen Memorial Park.
