LOGANTON - Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Bierly, 78, widow of Elias Milton Bierly, died Monday, March 15, 1954, at 8:15 a.m. in a Danville Hospital where she was admitted Jan. 5.
She was born in Logan Mills, the daughter of David and Phoebe Wolfe. She was a member of the Tylersville Reformed Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Katie Knarr, Jersey Shore RD 1, with whom she resided before her illness, Mrs. Anna Confer, Loganton RD, and Mrs. Mary Miller, Lewisburg; one brother, John Wolfe, Greenburr; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Snyder, Oval, and Mrs. Robert Garrett, Mifflinburg; 19 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in Loganton. The Rev. Theodore Lindquist, pastor of the Loganton, Salona Lutheran Charge, will officiate, and burial will be in Union Cemetery, Tylersville.
