August Bielefeld died this morning at his home in the town of Center after an illness covering nearly thirty years. Mr Bielefeld was 77 years of age. He was born at Aldenburg, Germany, and came to this country when twenty-five years of age. He lived at Cedarburg a number of years and served three years in the civil war, being among those who fought in the battle of Gettysburg. After the war he came to Outagamie county and since that time had made his home on a farm in the town of Center. He is survived by three daughters as follows; Mrs H Wickert, Mrs Meta Dettman and Mrs William Timm. Twelve grandchildren also survive. The funeral will be held next Sunday afternoon and the service will be conducted by the Rev Mr Haase.
