JOHN LOUIS BICKEL, 85, of Fort Wayne died Saturday in Lutheran Hospital.
The Wabash County native lived in Fort Wayne and Hudson, Fla. He retired in 1969 as a test engineer for International Harvester Co. after 37 years.
Surviving are his wife, Florence "Molly"; daughters, Leah Joy Durnell of Fort Wayne and Mary Lou Skinner of Guagaquil, Ecuador; a son, Jack E. of Acton, Mass.; a brother, Roscoe of California, Ky.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial services are 1:30 p.m. tomorrow in Christian Union Church, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. There is no calling in Elzey & Haggard Home for Funerals.
