Julia Dora Bice was born on 13 June 1914 in Texas to Gilbert Johnson Bice and Elva Roanna Gary. Like all three of her older sisters, she became a Registered Nurse, 23 April 1936, at the Hotel Dieu School of Nursing in Beaumont, Texas. Julia Bice contracted an ailment from a patient and died a maiden, 23 February 1937, aged 23, in Beaumont. She was buried with her mother at Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont.
