Martha C. Maloney Bianchini, 80, of Folsom, Ridley Township, a retired banker, died July 11 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center in Middletown.

She was born in Philadelphia. Mrs. Bianchini retired in 1992 after working 11 years for First Union Bank as a wholesale banker.

She was formerly a Girl Scouts cookie mom. Mrs. Bianchini enjoyed reading and playing softball. She was the widow of Joseph J. Bianchini Sr. who died in 1996.

Survivors: Daughters, Jean M. Bianchini of Folsom, Mary Louise Shank of Wallingford, Nether Providence and Marcie C. Hagan and Joanne Lehan, both of West Chester, Chester County; sons, Joseph J. Bianchini Jr. of Wallingford, John J. Bianchini of Folsom; nine grandchildren.

Service: 11 a.m. Thursday, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Ave., Morton postal section of Ridley Township.

Visitation: 9-11 a.m. Thursday at the church.

Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon.

Contributions: Arthritis Foundation, 111 South Independence Mall East, Suite 500, Philadelphia, PA 19106.

Arrangements: James F. Knoetgen Funeral Home, Morton.

Martha C. Bianchini (nee Maloney), 80, of Folsom, died Sunday, July 11, 2010, at Fair Acres Geriatric Center.

She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Bianchini Sr., who died in 1996.

She was born Aug. 13, 1929, in Philadelphia.

She was a wholesale banker for First Union Bank for 11 years, retiring in 1992.

Martha loved her grandchildren.

She was a Girl Scout leader and cookie mom, an avid reader and she played softball.

She is survived by her children, Jean M. Bianchini of Folsom, Mary Louise Shank of Wallingford, Marcie C. Hagan of West Chester, Joseph J. Bianchini Jr. of Wallingford, John J. Bianchini of Folsom and Joanne Lehan of West Chester; also by nine grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Martha's life celebration from 9 to 11 a.m. today, Thursday, July 15, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Ave., Morton, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.

Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Arthritis Foundation, 111 S. Independence Mall East, Suite 500, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
