Dolph was born in Grantwood, NJ, in 1938, the son of Adolph and Georgianna Beyer. For 36 years he was the co-owner of Beyer Offset Printing in Palermo, NY. He was a parishioner of St. Anne, Mother of Mary Catholic Church in Mexico, NY, where he served as a trustee, lector, usher and sang in the folk group. He was a fourth- degree member of the Knights of Columbus in Fulton, NY. Dolph is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lois (Smith) Beyer; daughters, Debbie (Spencer) Johnson of Fredericksburg, VA, Lori (Steve) Bara of Cicero, NY; his son, Dolph (Judy) Beyer of Clifton Park, NY; son-in-law, Steve (Suzie) Shoults of Warners, NY; 10 grandchildren, Spencer, Steve, Mike, Lexie, Nikki, Courtney, Tyler, Kelli, Danny and Melinda. He is also survived by a brother, Rich (Suzy) Beyer of Palermo, NY; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ray and Lorraine Wolff of Cedar Grove, NJ; and sister-in-law, Kathleen Smith of West Patterson, NJ. Dolph was predeceased by his daughter, Linda Beyer Shoults, in 1998 and infant sons, Richard (1963) and Donald (1965). Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Harter Funeral Home, 9 Washington Street in Mexico. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at St. Anne, Mother of Mary Catholic Church in Mexico at 10 a.m., with burial at St. Paul's Cemetery in Oswego. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Western and Central New York Chapter, 4043 Maple Road, Suite 105, Amherst, NY 14226 LLS.org or Maureen's Hope, 44 Oswego St., Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
