George L. Bex of Mitchell, IN died Wednesday, December 15, 1999, at the Mitchell Manor Living and Rehab Center. Born on March 25, 1911, in Lawrence County, IN, he was the son of John and Etta (Dorsett) Bex. He married Ruth Merry on August 8, 1930, and she died March 4, 1962. He married Naomi (Russell) Gilbert on March 17, 1964, and she survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Frances Hensley of Mitchell, IN; two step-sons, Michael Gilbert of Shreveport, LA, and Terry Gilbert of Chicago, IL; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant son and dau Jimmy and Timothy Crane, both of Bedford, IN, and Russell Crane of Washington state; three sisters: LeeAnn Mears of Bloomington IN, LaDonna Crane and Lisa Wilcoxen, both of Bedford, IN. She was preceded in death by her father.

She worked at General Electric in Bloomington and was a bartender at Rusty's in Bedford. She was a member of Williams First Baptist Church.

Services for Tin Sullivan will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, December 12th, at the Fayetteville Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Crane officiating.
