Monday Evening Issue Daily Journal-Gazette November 12, 1956. Milo Bevil, 78, of 1018 Prairie Ave., a retired labor of the New York Central Railroad, died at 11:40 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Hospital. He had been in failing health for some time. Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 2:p.m. at the Schilling Funeral Home, Rev. James A Drysdale officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home after 5:p.m. Tuesday. Mr. Bevil was born on Oct. 29, 1878, in Cobden, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Bevil. He is survived by his wife, Joanne, a son, Elbert Bevil, Mattoon, and two sisters, Mrs. J.C. Weaver, Mattoon, and Mrs. John Gollier, Carbondale.
